Join me for a live, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of Gothic calligraphy (Textura Blackletter), one of the most expressive and structured styles in calligraphy.

This is an introductory course, perfect for anyone who wants to start learning Gothic calligraphy or build a strong foundation with proper structure and technique.

Over two live sessions, we’ll go step by step through the essential concepts, focusing on understanding, repetition, and developing confidence in your strokes.

👨🏽🏫 About the Instructor:
Jackson Alves is a graphic designer with over 25 years of experience and a calligraphy and lettering artist for more than 15 years.
His work has been commissioned by global brands such as Apple, Montblanc, The Coca-Cola Company, and The Heineken Group, combining traditional calligraphy with contemporary design.
He has taught workshops for students around the world, both in-person and online, and is currently expanding his practice in type design through the Type West program.
